12. Now, let´s trim that edge! Add a new layer. Grab your selection tool set on Circle, and draw a new circle slightly larger than your ornament. Flood fill it with any color. Deselect. Use your mover tool to position the colored circle over your ornament. If it isn´t a little larger than your ornament, use the deformation tool to resize it. You may find that you will need to increase your canvas size (Image>Canvas Size) in order to do this. (Guess how I figured that out?)
13. Tap the circle with your Magic Wand, then go to Selections>Modify>Contract and contract by 6 pixels. Hit your delete key and deselect. You now have an outer ring. Select the outer ring with your Magic Wand, go to Art Texture and use palette #8 again, only this time select these settings:
Go to Layers>Merge Visible.14. You´re almost done! Add a new layer and put your name or your watermark on the ornament. Now you can either export it as a transparent GIF, or activate the bottom layer (the one we´ve kept hidden all this time), and flood fill it with a color you like, then add some sort of a texture to it. You can give the ornament a drop shadow if you want to, but don´t add one if you´re going to use it as a transparent image, it looks really baaaad.....
Bet this took a lot less time than if you had tried to Crochet it. I hope you enjoyed it.
